After a long time of silence finally some news: The contract with Christhunt Productions was cancelled earlier this year. If you are interested in the reasons, just ask for it. Our Split-EP with Asaru is as well cancelled as the LP-version of [Mein Fleisch...]. But finally some good news: There will definitely be some new output in the future from Bluttaufe! +++ Future plans... +++

"Mein Fleisch an Deinen Lippen..." will be released on gatefold-double-LP format in may/june through Christhunt Productions in a limited edition of only 300 copies. This vinyl-attack will include 3 bonus-tracks (e.g. "Orgasmatron") and should be hard to get. Until now about 200 copies are already pre-ordered. If you want to pre-order your personal copy click here for conditions, etc. Another split-EP is planned on Christhunt for july 2001. Other band will be German Black Metallers Asaru. Both bands will record their contribution once again @Kohlekeller Studio together with mastermind Kristian Kohlmannslehner. The EP will be limited to 333 copies, where 300 copies will be printed on black and 33 pieces on coloured vinyl. (10/04/01)

+++ Bluttaufe/ Primitive Symphony Split-CD +++

Psychic Scream Entertainment Malaysia finally managed to release one of the most eager awaited split-CDs ever (this is at least what they claim...), namely the Bluttaufe/ Primitive Symphony Split-CD. The material featured on this recording was already recorded in 1998-1999 but nevertheless should be worth your attention. This 10-Track CD is available from our Promotion Management (Europe) or Psychic Scream Entertainment (World). This release is limited to 1000 CDs, respectively 1000 tapes. (10/04/01)

Our debutalbum is now out since 4 months and so far 1.800 copies have been sold. It should be available in all european countries and from some distributions in the US. "Mein Fleisch..." received praising words not only from the underground but also from major magazines and labels. Some quotes can be found here soon. (10/04/01)

+++ In the studio... +++

Today we started recording our debut album @KohleKeller Studio. It is scheduled for release in november/ december 2000 and will be distributed by Connected. The tracklisting is the following: "Mein geschundener Leichnam", "Der Tod ist nicht das Ende", "Zu Staub zerfallen unsere Träume", "Untertänig, meist zur Nacht", "Glorifizierung der Vergangenheit", "Dem Untergang verpflichtet", plus another, yet untitled song. The LP-version will contain a special bonus song, "Orgasmatron" by Motörhead. Watch out! (27/09/00)

+++ Debut album on Christhunt Prod. +++

Bluttaufe agreed to an offer from Christhunt Prod. for the release of the debut album! Therefore we are going to once again enter Kohlekeller Studio from late September until the mid of October. The album will contain about 7 songs with a playtime of approx. 45 minutes and will be released on CD and double-LP (!) format, on CD in an edition of 3000 copies, latter on vinyl in a limited edition of only 300 copies! July started with a one-week stay at KohleKeller Studio, Seeheim near Darmstadt. We recorded two songs, where one will find its place on our Split 7" EP with Nagelfar that is now scheduled for late August 2000. (19/07/00)

Things have been cleared up and now the following releases can be announced:

- Bluttaufe Debut album - november/ december 2000 [LP-version lim. to 300 copies]

Sadly I have to add that the release of our Split 7" EPs with Aragorn (GER) and Wrath (SWE) had to be postponed to 2001. (18/07/00)

--- Old news from 1999 ---

Kettenhund Records are going to serve you a delicious Bluttaufe/ Nagelfar (GER) split-7"EP. The latter is going to comprise exclusive studio-material from either of the lots involved and will be very strictly limited. The material featured will be only available on this piece of vinyl, definitely no reissue-fraud or something like that. Release-date will be some time in autumn'99. Distribution is not sure yet. The Bluttaufe/ ...and Oceans split EP had unfortunately again been postponed and is now set for release in july. Our split-CD also had to be postponed to late '99 and maybe is even defunct now. (11/06/99)

The Bluttaufe/ ...and Oceans split EP will be released in april/ may in an edition of 666 copies and features the following tracks: "The black vagabond and the swan of two heads" (The psychotic syndrome circle-mix) by ...and Oceans, respectively "Glorifizierung der Vergangenheit" (Extended 70 cl & 43% Vol.-mix) by Bluttaufe. The recordings for the split-CD with Primitive Symphony have been finished and turned out to be an incredible killer of Black Thrashing art ! The four songs last 27 minutes and have been recorded totally digital on 24 tracks at Steinberger Studios (Nocte Obducta, Agathodaimon) featuring our session-drummer for the very first time on a Bluttaufe recording. It's official !!! Bluttaufe will release a split EP together with Finland's elite Metallers ...and Oceans !!! Sombre Rec. will -as suggested- be the label to release this EP in a limited edition. Both bands will contribute exclusive material (different mix, etc.) to this masterpiece release which will hopefully see the light before Bluttaufe's split-album with Primitive Symphony and ...and Oceans' follow-up to "The dynamic gallery of thoughts" are out. It no longer shall be kept secret: Bluttaufe will release a split-CD with Swedish Black/ Death Metallers Primitive Symphony. Bluttaufe as well as Primitive Symphony are therefore going to enter the studios in late december. As for the label both bands accepted an offer from Swedish Blasphemy Records.
Read a short excerpt of what J. Nyhlen of Primitive Symphony said about this forthcoming release in an interview recently done with a malaysian zine: This release will for sure stand as a milestone within metal and the ones missing out on that one will probably regret it. It is said that the first 1000 copies will be limited and have a completely different cover than the ones printed after that, so if interested in a rare piece of it keep your eyes open in the beginning of '99 ! Exactly, buy or die ! (24/11/98)

And another label seems to be interested in Bluttaufe's irresistible art. Sombre Rec. from Germany offer to strenghten their cooperation in the future. Sombre Rec. has been one of the very first supporters of Bluttaufe and distributed all stuff so far released. Now Sombre Rec. will have the honour to unleash one of the best split EP's ever ! First act will be Bluttaufe and second act one of the best current finnish Black Metal bands. I won't go into detail now as their label yet didn't agree but I will keep you updated a.s.a.p. Finally the long search for a drummer is over as Bluttaufe recruited a real maniac for session battery on future recordings. His name shall currently still be kept secret as he's also involved in other bands. Maybe some gigs will be held, too, but nothing in this direction is yet planned. (10/11/98)

Bluttaufe will most likely enter "Steinberger Studios" in late december/ early january to record two new songs and three old songs from the Promo CD'98 and the Promo-Tape '97 that were totally re-arranged and improved. (30/10/98)

Bluttaufe are right now negotiating with a Swedish label that shows interest in releasing a Bluttaufe split-CD. As for the roughly release date the beginning of 1999 is planned. More details are to follow... (28/10/98)

Christhunt Prod. from Germany will most likely release a Bluttaufe 7" (split) EP in early 1999 after the release of Armaggedon's (Germany) first 7" EP. (26/10/98)
